Inspired by my previous painting “A Dreamers Place”, this scene takes place in a diptych rather than a singular piece. I connected so much to the ethereal and dreamy feeling of the first painting, that I wanted to create that emotion again with this pair. The idea of the birds being on separate paintings whilst still flying towards each other is a really beautiful message to me. Whether they signify a romantic relationship, a precious friendship or a bond between family members, their meaning is still the same. Giving us hope that the people who mean the most to us will exist with us through every time and every place. It’s a painting of love, hope, and promises.
Details & Information:
This diptych was created using a range of high quality acrylic paints. Focusing heavily on my impasto technique with thick, beautiful textures creating depth and layers for your eyes to get lost in.
These canvasses are unframed, but I always paint with the idea of my paintings being framed in the end so the option of framing is available with this one. If you choose framed, I’ll email you to discuss the frame colour you’d prefer. If you choose to purchase unframed, once receiving the artwork, should you choose to get it framed from there you can take them to your local framer and they will give you all of the options to find your perfect frame. This is not compulsory though, many customers of mine prefer the unframed look and so they keep it how it is.
Shipping:
I work with an international company to pack and fulfil your painting shipments. If the painting is travelling to the UK, it will be carefully packaged and protected for transit as it makes it way to you via road. For international shipping, the paintings are packaged and put inside a handmade wooden carton to ensure maximum safety as it travels overseas to you.
Please allow up to 3 weeks for the paintings to be sent out and shipped to you. Feel free to email me at any point for an update on the status of your painting.
Confirmation and Care Instructions:
Once you have purchased an original painting, I will personally send you a full confirmation email including any information you need to know and how to take care of your artwork when you receive it. I look forward to chatting with you, and finding out where my precious paintings will be heading off to this time!
